Personal Review:
Now Fleetwood Mac is one of those bands that I grew up listening to, I heard all their albums and loved everything I heard, so naturally when I got this album I knew one day I’d have the pleasure of reviewing one of my childhood favorites.
The album opens with the ever-so-great “Second Hand News” – which opens with some pretty neat guitar playing followed by amazing vocals. I don’t know why anyone would part with this album. After that comes the track “Dreams” – which, forever I had called “Thunder Only Happens When It’s Raining” – which is just the first line in the chorus, it’s another amazing song, this time the vocals are provided by the amazingly talented Stevie Nicks. After that comes ANOTHER amazing track, “Never Going Back Again” follows, which is mainly guitar playing with some vocals, but those few vocals that are sung within in the song are quite amazing. Then comes the song “Don’t Stop” – which is one of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs ever. But, to be truthful, the whole A-Side is one amazing song after another, but this one has a great guitar solo in it. After that comes the song “Go Your Own Way” – yet, another amazing song. It’s one of the few Fleetwood Mac songs on my iPod. Which is weird, I totally thought I would have more than just like five. The A-Side closes with the track “Songbird” – which is sung by Nicks again, and makes for an amazing closing track for the A-Side.

The B-Side opens with the track “The Chain” – which has a pretty neat introduction to it, and it’s just an amazing track all on it’s own. Like, it’s an amazing track, and the musicianship is absolutely stunning. Next up is “You Make Loving Fun” which has a rather nice funky beat to it, mostly in the bass though. The vocals are pretty good too! Then comes the song “I Don’t Want to Know” – which is a good song, the musicianship is pretty great, and the group vocals are absolutely amazing. The song “Oh Daddy” follows next, which is a slower song, it’s definitely not one that I can honestly say I like, which is sad, because every other song on this album this far has been absolutely stunning. Then comes this. The album closes with the song “Gold Dust Woman” which has a slow start, but comes out as an overall amazing closing track. No real complaints here!
