The Liner/Sleeve Notes:
This is my family. Grace, my wife sings lead and plays electric bass. Bonnie is 13, sings alto and plays rhythm guitar and piano. Heather is 10 and sings solos with a country flavour in her voice. Mark is our 8 yr. old drummer, a soloist and second lead singer. April Joy is 5 and another soloist. Scott is 4 yrs. old and trying hard to catch up. I am the father of the family play lead guitar and sing tenor. We believe God has called us to singing ministry after 3 yrs. of pastoring a country church. We pray that He will be glorified in our endeavours to serve Him through this medium. We all love to sing but most important we love our Lord and Redeemer Jesus Christ, the One to whom the Bible is referring to when it says “every knee should bow and every tongue should confess that He is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Phil. 2: 10 & 11)

Personal Review:
Kay, usually I HATE LOVE singing Gospel families. As usually they have a group of untalented annoying voiced kids, but I really do enjoy this LP. The Edwards surely do have what a good portion of other Gospel families lack, I’m not sure what it is… but I know that the Edwards have it! This LP is definitely a super private press… considering there is no label OR catalog number on the LP, sleeve or anything. Anyways, I love the track “I Know” and this LP…

I grew up with the Edward family in Wooler, Ontario Canada. I knew growing up that they had made some gospel albums. Jim Edwards may have preached and sang the gospel but certainly didn’t live by the gospel. In the early 90’s he was arrested and charged with sexual assault and rape. Myself and several of my childhood friends had to go to court and testify against him. Not an easy thing to do since April and Scott were among my good friends. I remember having a crush on Scott through out grades 6-8. The year on that album is probably 1972-1973 if Scott is 4 years old like it says. He is the same age as I am. The secrets of that little hamlet in Wooler, Ontario Canada in the township of Northumberland at that time still haunt me.
