Personal Review:
So, Isaac Hayes. Shaft Theme. Oh baby. Bring… it… ON! For those of you who are too young to know who Isaac Hayes was, he was also the voice of Chef on “South Park” (but who cares about that?) Anyways, “Who’s the black private dick? SHAFT! Can you dig it?” So, the A-Side is the theme from the film “Shaft” – and they say “that this cat Shaft is a bad mother-SHUT YOUR MOUTH… I’m talkin’ about Shaft!” anyways, it’s a pretty funky tune. I like it, so should you.
B- Side! The B-Side is a song titled “Cafe Regio’s” – I’ve never heard it. (Until now!) Personally, I bought this 45 solely for the Shaft Theme (and to have a record by Isaac Hayes. I really want “Black Moses” though. *Hint Hint* Readers!) Anyways, the song is an instrumental and I suck at reviewing instrumentals.
