The Liner/Sleeve Notes:
I stepped into the word of deep suffering two and a half years ago. The chosen victim of a tragic fall which left me paralyzed, I was left groping for someone to whom I could cling during my hour of desperation. I found the Best Friend a lonely heard could ask for! I found our Lord stretching His loving arms around me that chilly October night.
It is the sincere wish of my wife, Sandy. and me that you too will find that Friend most precious as you listen to each prayerfully chosen song, tailor-made to suit your own specific pain and heartache.
The proceeds from this album will go directly to OVERCOMERS THRU CHRIST MINISTRIES, a ministry of comfort and encouragement for God’s precious and often overlooked remnant of suffering saints. If we can help you in any way, please feel free to contact us at the address below. Sandy and I would be most honored to hear from you. May God grant you the soothing medication you need as you listen.

Personal Review:
This record was given to me by another website, though at the moment it escapes my mind on who gave me it. Nonetheless, here it is.

The album opens with the track “Does Jesus Care” and it starts off slowly, but Scott does have a rather nice voice. It’s softer, and like a pop standard vocalists voice. It’s nice, I like it. All in all, the song is good – even that little high note at the end. “The Fire” comes next and it’s slower, but the musicianship is pretty nice, Scott’s voice is also pretty good.  “He Knows What’s Best for Me” comes next, and it’s a bit more upbeat and well, Scott is a really good singer and so far all of these songs have been really good, this one though, so far, the title track is my favorite out of the three. “Whatever It Takes” comes next, and it too, starts off slowly, but Scott delivers it perfectly. I do wish that this song would pick up some. The A-Side closes with the track “Jesus Led Me All the Way” and it is also a bit slower, but it does have some terrific piano playing in this one, and Scott’s vocals are great. Just this album is a bit slow for me as it stands currently.

The B-Side opens with the song “Peace in the Midst of the Storm” – and this one seems to be pretty good, a little bit more quicker paced, with fantastic piano playing in this one. Scott is a wonderful vocalist. “It’s Worth It” comes next, and Scott continues to deliver these fantastic songs of praise, though he does keep the same pace on all of the tracks almost, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it’s not my type of Gospel. The songs on this album are indeed really good songs that are sung from the heart. “He Will Carry You” comes next, and it’s actually, in my opinion, the best (so far) song on the B-Side. I’m liking it. “God Makes No Mistakes” follows next, and Scott continues to sing from his heart and deliver these good gospel tunes. The album closes with the track “What a Day That Will Be” and it’s a good closing track, it’s a definitely a nice song to end the album with. I like it.
