 The music groups of Trinity College have traveled extensively throughout our country with the singularity expressed purpose of praising our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, through music. This album contains some of the favorite selections of recent tours.
 The Trinity College Department of Music offers courses leading to the Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in church music, public school music, theory or performance. Parcipitation in the music groups is open to all students of the college.
 Affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America, Trinity College, a fully accredited four-year liberal arts college is located at 2045 Half Day Road, Deerfield, Illinois 60015.”

Personal Review:
 So, here we are again with yet another Crusade Enterprises release. This one is a little out of my usual area of records I listen to, but hey, it’s here, so here I go.

 The album opens with the choir performing the title track, “Make a Joyful Noise” and well, choirs aren’t my thing at all. Fun fact, I used to be in a choir. It’s a decent recording, they seem to know that they are doing. After that it goes onto the band performing “Lead Kindly Light” and it’s an instrumental, and another fun fact, I used to play the baritone saxophone in my high school band. This is actually a really good instrumental, I really like the instrumental on this one. The women’s chorale comes next with the song “We Behold Our Dying Saviour” and women’s choirs scare me. They’re just so loud, and scary. Then the choir comes back with the song “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross” and it’s really quiet and soft at the start, then it picks up, and it’s alright. Then comes the Brass Choir doing “Christ Arose!” which has a sort of spoken intro, before they go into the instrumental part, it’s pretty great. Then the A-Side closes with the choir doing “Go Tell it On the Mountain” with Dave Benson doing the solo part, and it’s different for sure. It was alright though.

 The B-Side opens with the band performing “The Love of God” and it’s a pretty good track, it’s a bit long, and this album kind of just keeps coming in and out of my consciousness, it’s decent though. The women’s chorale comes next again with the song “My Jesus, I Love Thee” and it’s a decent track, as I said women’s choirs scare me, so this is a little different for me. We then go back to the choir again with the track “Abide With Me” and it’s good, I generally prefer these full choir pieces, as opposed to a specific genders choir piece. Then the Women’s Chorale comes back again with the song “The Beatitudes” and I got to admit, this somewhat reminds me of the choir scene from the movie ‘Home Alone‘ – but like, it’s not the same song, just the female choir, well not the same choir either… just a choir. The album closes with the band performing “One in the Spirit” and it’s a really good ending to the album, it’s a perfect instrumental piece.
