Personal Review:
I’m far from being a Hedley fan, I liked maybe two songs? “Gunnin’” and “3, 2, 1” – I’ve literally been in the same room as Hedley and had no reaction to them. An acquaintance bought me this LP for Christmas 2011, because he liked the picture disc. Though, everyone knows I’m not a Hedley fan.

The A-Side opens with the song “One Life” and in today’s media, this LP opens with a song I know, and I’m questioning why this sounds so remixed? It’s odd, because I know this song, and it’s not a bad one, the chorus is good, but the fact it’s so remixed makes it a very mediocre track. Then comes another pretty familiar track, “Invincible” and it’s decent, I now know it’s a Hedley track, I guess Hedley pulled their stuff together for this LP. The songs are pretty decent. “Heaven’s Gonna Wait” follows next, and it’s slow, but then when the chorus comes around it comes off as an emotionally charged ballad, love song thing. It’s definitely not something I’d enjoy. “We Are Unbreakable” comes next, and it’s upbeat, and pop sounding, it’s alright, still not really my type of music, but it’s not so bad that I have to completely turn it off. The album continues with the song “Young” and it seems to be more of a anthem type song, and I don’t think it went too far because I’ve never heard anyone reference it or use it anywhere. Good game. “Beautiful” comes next to close the A-Side, and it’s a bit slower, not overly interesting, I’m detecting female vocals, but not seeing any female credits, so maybe one of the singers has a really feminine voice? Who knows. Anyways, it’s an alright way to end the A-Side.

The B-Side opens with the track “Bullet for Your Dreams” and once more, it’s upbeat and pop sounding, I don’t find Hedley’s image really matches their songs. But, oh well. It’s a mediocre album so far. Then comes the song “Hot Mess” and well, it’s different for sure, really upbeat, not all that bad, it’s okay. “Stormy” comes next, and we’re back at one of those lovey power ballads, and just a really overly sappy early 2010’s pop song. “Last Call” comes next, and by this point I’ve kind of lost interest in the album, it all kind of sounds the same, no matter how you look at it. It just all seems to be the same. The album closes with the song “I Won’t Let You Go (Darling)” and it’s a slower, softer song. So slow, so boring.
