The Liner/Sleeve Notes:
Up and down and across this nation, my work as an Evangelist and in Bible Conferences, Youth Camps, Mission Conferences, etc. allows me to hear many different kinds of singers and musicians.
Confessedly, everyone has their own best likes and upon those premises generally make their evaluation of a singer, group of singers or instrumentalists. However, since music can greatly add to or take from or even leave a meeting in “neutral,” I endeavor to make my evaluation upon these premises.
Carolyn Sterk – either with the Sterk Family Group or as a soloist (vocal or saxophonist) is one whose manners as well as her music are always in the “plus” column when it comes to a Gospel Service. Some Pastors have had her and/or the family repeatedly, simply because, they say, “there’s an uplift to all our people and both a challenge and an example for our young people.”
May the Lord bless this recording of Carolyn’s yielded talents and bring to each listener a spiritual uplift and true blessing is my prayer.

 DR. ART WILSON,
 Evangelist

Personal Review:
Does the cover not say it all? She’s Carolyn, she’s the Gospel Music Queen. Okay. Maybe not the award, and the title. Anyways, here is the review.
Where Will You Be” is the opening track, and Carolyn overall, does not have an awful voice. She’s pretty good. The record is on Mission Records – which has produced some other pretty good Gospel albums (Becky & Sandy and Al Crocker) – the song is good. Yup. “So Many Reasons” is the next track, and it slow and kind of boring. Then comes “Saviour Like a Shepherd Lead Us” which has a pretty good piano solo at the opening of the track. Oh… the whole song is a piano instrumental? Yes, yes it is. “I Will Serve Thee” comes up next, and it’s not an instrumental! The A-Side ends with the song “I’ve Been to Calvary” aaand it’s okay.

The B-Side opens with “Just a Closer Walk with Thee” – and instantly, I prefer Denise’s version. (Everytime.) It is sung good, but it isn’t clicking for me. Next up is “He is My Everything” and it’s another okay track, Carolyn just ain’t working for me. “The Way That He Loves” is next, and it’s a sax instrumental. What I can say, is that Carolyn can sure as heck play her instruments amazingly! “How About Your Heart” comes up next, it’s an alright track, I just find this album is too slow, I’m more a fast paced Gospel music lover. The B-Side ends with the track “The Saviour is Waiting” and it’s an okay way to end the album.

Anyways, Carolyn’s all grown-up!
