Personal Review:
So, let me start by saying I don’t speak Dutch – but Google translate does tell me the song title of the first song roughly translates to “Farewell to Me, This is a New Beginning“, (UPDATE!: The translation is actually “This Farewell Means A New Start for Me“). Anyways let’s begin! I do like the music itself, but lyric wise I have no idea what is going on here. It’s like when I listen to Heino, I’ve listened enough to sing along – but not to understand.
Anyways, the song on the B-Side roughly translates to “Brewing Beach of Maspalomas” (Kay, even I know that is wrong. – UPDATE!: The translation is actually “On The Beach of Maspalomas“) and, um… well… as Chris says “Ole, Ole, Ole!” (haha… it’s typical 90’s low budget pop.) I prefer the A-Side over this side.
In conclusion, I don’t even think it is worth trying to find information on an artist solely known as “Chris”. So, we’re all going to assume, he was a successful musician!
*Note: Thanks to VAoT reader Bill, for supplying me with the proper translation!
